Simon Slater

Managing Director

Simon has been with e4 for more than 17 years, having held various executive roles across the group. Before this, Simon was a corporate M&A lawyer. As Group COO of the e4 South African group until July 2021, he enjoyed leading a fast-paced technology business under PE investors. He relocated to the UK to become MD of the e4 UK business. Simon is an astute and authentic leader of people, highly experienced and well respected in the banking and legal technology sectors.

Andrew Vaughan

Head of Customer

Management

Andrew joined e4 in March 2023 and has a career in Financial Services spanning over 30 years. He has held several senior positions at Lloyds, TSB, L&G and Hometrack, and during this time, he amassed a breadth of knowledge across Mortgages, Technology and Customer Management. An empathic and resourceful leader, Andrew has built a strong reputation of integrity and commitment amongst clients, peers, and colleagues.

Riaan de Bruyn

Head of Product &

Technology

Riaan joined e4 in 2009 and has held various software development, architect, and management positions in the tech industry. Over the last 23 years, he has accumulated experience and knowledge in the Financial, Property and Payments sectors. He currently leads and oversees the group’s design and development for international projects focused on the UK. He is an inspirational leader with a strong coaching leadership style who creates a high-performance culture and values excellence, integrity, and openness.

Joy Hagelthorn

Business Analyst/

Project Manager

Joy joined the e4 Strategic team in a hybrid Business Analyst/Project Manager role. With over 17 years of diversified experience in digital innovation in industries such as global retail, education and real estate, Joy is adept at understanding business processes and identifying gaps, focusing on providing sustainable solutions—a highly motivated and authentic leader who is agile in understanding and leading project teams successfully. Joy is working closely with Riaan and the global development teams.
